Men's Women's Safety Shoes Steel Toe Work Sneakers Breathable Lightweight Construction Shoes

I'm an IT Security and Systems Engineer. Recently, I took a position with a concrete precast company as their IT person. Never in my career have I needed to wear a hard hat, safety goggles, and steel-toe boots (shoes). I didn't want to get actual boots because hey, I'm IT, not someone that works with the concrete. I decided on these because they look like sneakers for the most part. I'm glad I did. They fit well, are comfortable, waterproof, and clean up easily. My company gives us a credit of $50 twice a year towards getting our safety shoes/boots, so this didn't cost me anything upon reimbursement.

i bought these since my original steel toes boots weight like 50 lbs each boot. so far they are light weight and look nice. i like that they slip on really easily. the problem with these is it doesnt stay toght on the foot. the draw string slides loose. and they wear out pretty quickly. like 3 months.

Considering I spent $200 on Red wings boots and they lasted a year. These shoes are well worth price. I bought these shoes six months ago and are still holding up. Being on new construction sites, service jobs, and sewer replacements in dirt and rugged conditions. These shoes have held up well for the money, and the protection of your toes is worth your mind. The insoles don't last too long and after 6 months the bottoms were rubbed flat, like I said well worth money spent

I got these in a pinch because my job now requires steel or composite toed shoes and I honestly waited too long. I tried two other big name brands but they hurt my feet and were 3x as much money. These shoes look great too. There is some paint slop on the white decoration around the bottom but I don't think other people would notice. This biggest thing I noticed is I ordered my usual size and these shoes run a little big (I'm a woman and these are unisex, so that may be the difference). I think it is a good thing because my toes are very comfortable but my insoles are a smidge too short now. They are a bit heavy compared to the other brands I tried. I think 4 stars is a solid rating for these shoes. They seem to be made well and if you consider the price, they are 5 stars IMO. I will update after I know how long they last, which I hope they do, because I'd like to get the other colors.
